Six champions. One stage. Countless storylines. The 2025 Six Kings Slam is more than just a tennis event—it’s a battlefield where legends clash. With Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic leading a field that reads like a dream, every match promises tensions, drama, and moments fans will never forget.

What started as a bold experiment in 2024 has now become the sport’s newest obsession. Every match here feels like a final, and every point is worth its weight in gold. The event will take place on October 15, 16, and 18. But who else, other than Djokovic and Alcaraz, will be taking part in this event, and what is the prize money for this star-studded event?

Here, the matches are played in a best-of-three format. Two seeded players will have their spots secured in the semifinals, while the other four will have to face each other to fight for the remaining spots. This year, Carlos Alcaraz (6x Grand Slam winner) and Novak Djokovic (24x Grand Slam winner), the two leading Grand Slam champions, have secured their spots as the top two seeds, respectively. As a result of this, both these players have also been handed a bye, and hence they’ll be seen in action on the second day.

Who else is competing in the Six Kings Slam?

What is the prize money at the Six Kings Slam?

The total prize money commitment for the 2025 Six Kings Slam is $13.5 million. The winner of this competition will grab a sum of $6 million in total. Do you know that this amount is even higher than the recently concluded 2025 US Open, which awarded $5 million to the singles champions?

Not only that, but a participation fee of around $1,500,000 is secured for each of the participants. Last year, Jannik Sinner defeated Carlos Alcaraz by 6(5)-7,6-3,6-3 in the final and took home the staggering $6 million prize money. Will the 38-year-old Serbian, Novak Djokovic, manage to outclass these superstars and end this tournament on a winning note this year? Time will tell!

Novak Djokovic enters this event following a disappointing exit from the Shanghai Masters

Novak Djokovic has been out of action ever since his SF loss to Carlos Alcaraz at the 2025 US Open. Although he started his campaign at the Shanghai Masters with four consecutive hard-fought victories, his journey came to an end at the hands of Valentin Vacherot. Surprisingly, the 204-ranked Monegasque player, Vacherot (who currently jumped up to 40 in the rankings with the title triumph in Shanghai), defeated the 24-time Grand Slam winner 6-3, 6-4 in the SF.

After this defeat, Djokovic shared a few words on the 26-year-old tennis star. He said, “I want to congratulate Valentin… Going from qualifications, it's an amazing story… it’s all about him.” In this match, there were moments when Djokovic was even seen struggling a bit with his hip injury.

So, when he was asked about his physical condition in his post-match interview, he surprisingly said, “No. Next question, please,” to the reporter.

But even in defeat, Novak Djokovic found himself rewriting tennis history in Shanghai. With his incredible run in this tournament, he has now collected his 80th Masters 1000 SF, becoming the first player to reach that number and leaving his closest rival, Rafael Nadal, on 76.

However, now the biggest question is, will Novak Djokovic be fit enough to take on the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, and others at the Six Kings Slam? Time will tell!

Sinner has already arrived in Riyadh, and Alcaraz was recently spotted spending Spain’s National Day on the practice court at home in El Palmar. The Six Kings Slam, in essence, has become tennis’s answer to the Champions League—concentrated brilliance, with egos and excellence colliding under the brightest lights. The players are almost ready to kickstart action at the ANB Arena in this second edition. But who will have the last laugh this time?
